Are there rooms in the stratosphere tower

This iconic hotel is definitely one of the best in Las Vegas. The Strat tower, the lobby with hundreds of slot machines and casinos, bars, restaurants, swimming pools, gyms, amusement rides on top of the tower and everything makes the trip wonderful.

And I am sure I missed a whole lot of other facilities. Totally recommending the upgrade to Strip view rooms. Overall it was a great hotel to stay at. The room was comfortable and clean, if not just a tad dated. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and even switched us to a better room with a view of the strip at no additional cost when we complained our non-smoking room smelled like smoke. The food was delicious, especially the buffet. A variety of choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as a great selection of desserts.

The hotel is a tad far from the main portion of the strip, but the walk isn't so bad. The "Deuce" bus line takes you all the way down to Mandalay Bay and up to Fremont Street, so it wasn't so bad. The tower offers a great view of the surrounding area and of Las Vegas itself. Drinks are great if not somewhat overpriced, but that's Vegas for you! It was quite a good experience for us and I would enjoy staying there again. What stood out from anything is the fact of the manner of professionalism, courtesy, and respect of the staff.

That is a true rareity in this day and age. The room was great and the view of the LV strip was just breathtaking. The observation deck was awestricking. I would recommend anyone that it is visiting Las Vegas for the first time to stay at the Strat. It's worth it It was our first time in Vegas and we were quite happy with our stay here at the Stratosphere I inquired for a top floor room with a view and the staff member was kind enough to offer us a room with beautiful view of the old Vegas.

Like most Vegas Casino hotels, the Stratosphere was smokey even in the no smoking floor. I woke up a couple of times when a whiff of ciggy smoke came through from under our door. Everything in our room we were happy with - it was clean and spacious and the view is spectacular. The Big Red Bus stops at this hotel, which is convenient so we didn't need to catch public transport to get to a stop.

Since I've done the sightseeing of Vegas now, next time I would probably stay at another hotel closer to the main part of the strip for greater entertainment. One of the female staff at the information counter was rather blunt and very unhelpful. I'll recommend this hotel if you would like to divide your time between Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Vegas. Although it's located at the very end of the Strip, this makes the location accessible to Downtown Vegas.

The room is spacious and the rates are more affordable compared to the other hotels at the Strip. The room has a bit of a musty smell.

It's tolerable though. Each hotel guest also gains access to the viewing deck at the top of this tall building. Moreover, guests get to enjoy the thrill rides at a discount. Deals come and go when I search for places to stay in Vegas.

This time it was the Stratosphere. Not a bad location, pretty much right between the old and new hangout spots. Lots of food nearby. There were a few people shouting in the street when I was walking home, but hey, it's Vegas, and that has nothing to do with the hotel, but something to keep in mind lol.

Overall, I had a great stay, and I'd go again! Check out the amusement rides on top of the building -- super cool! Important things all bookers should know before. The staff was very helpfull in this very complicated situation to negotiate with Agoda customer service and Agoda with the purchasing department of the hotel and the information updated in system of reservation for the hotel.

I could use their telephone and the manager in charge took care of me. Absolutely excellent. As we negotiated long about 1 hour before everything was OK, time was now after 7 pm and the pool area was closed.

As a compensation for all the trouble he gave me a free upgrade to the highest floor, 24th, and he did not charge the "resort fee" - I appreciated. The view from floor 24 is outstanding. Nobody should miss that, even when staying not in this hotel and have to pay for the tower admission.

PROS: Great 24hrs gym with many equipment, although it is tucked away in one of the towers, indicating there is a long walk to the gym. On the plus side, there is a food store on the same floor to grab a bite after a workout. There is also a decent circus show just outside the hotel itself as well. Price of the rooms are cheaper comparative to the other hotels on the strip. The buffet was so-so, worth a try.

Also, the hotel is far from the strip itself. Pro: rooms very clean. Housekeeping would restock everything from bathroom soaps to bedding. Staff is super friendly.

They send texts to make sure everything is alright and if anything is needed. Great gym has everything that is needed. My stay at the stratosphere was because I did the Spartan race over the weekend. Drinks at lower bar inexpensive compared to the other hotels and are way better.

Drinks I recommend from there are pina colada and Long Island. Cons: It's pretty far from the main strip. Even by Lyft which I took. Otherwise nothing to complain about room wise. My last stay was at the Luxor and Stratosphere definitely beats it even though it was cheaper. I definitely will stay here again on my next visit to Vegas.

Thanks guys!!! After reading other travelers' reviews, I was pretty skeptical about the hotel and had low expectations, but our stay turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise. I was slightly discouraged once we entered after seeing a very long line at the check in counters, but the ladies at the front desk were very efficient and we were helped in no time.

Our room was nice and spacious with a comfy bed. The casino had an array of slot machines which we thoroughly enjoyed, however the free cocktails served were average at best and definitely needed some improvement. Nonetheless, my travel companion and I were overall pleased with our stay and we would definitely consider staying at this hotel again for any of our future trips to Las Vegas. Pros: Value for money, good facilities, big property, easy check in and check out, great skypod arena and view from the top.

Super ride and thrilling skydrop. Cons: location is at the end of the strip, its little secluded from the activities of the famous strip. No shuttle from airport although uber, taxi available and even bus no comes close to hotel from airport. We arrived here on our first day, in the late evening.

The room was excellent and a really nice view. We were so tired of traveling for 24 hours that we decided to go to the Strip next day. However, the hotel was on the wrong site of the Strip. We wanted to walk overthere, but in the heat of Vegas, don't do it. Instead of the Strip we went to the shooting range across the hotel. In our road trip we would come back to Vegas another day so we left after having a view from the upper floor.

We were a bit apprehensive after reading the reviews, but went for it anyway as the only other hotel at a similar price was Circus Circus and we didn't want to be with kids.

Plus we are British and can put up with most things. Well I must say we didn't have any problems at all, quick check in with an upgrade on the 17th floor which was a non smoking floor. Arrived at the room, spacious bedroom, great view down the strip, could have done with a bigger wardrobe but we managed my fault for bringing 3 suits! Awesome views from the top of the tower and nice cocktails bit pricey as you would expect.

The concierge desk were most helpful, sorted us out with bus information and anything else we needed to know. The deuce bus is great 20 dollars for a 3day pass which will take you to the Mandalay Bay at one end and the North shopping malls at the other via Fremont Street, we used it a lot and it stopped right outside the north entrance to the hotel.

Ate in Roxys which was ok but we preferred to eat out on the strip or Fremont. Neither of us had seen strawberries so large before and so juicy! Plus chocolate sauce and cream yummy!! Must say that both of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Thanks for a great time. We stayed at the Stratosphere Casino and Tower Hotel for two nights.

The rooms were decent in size and relatively clean. The rooms are obviously fairly dated however, and likewise with the casino. However for the price we paid we were fairly happy with the final product. The hotel is located away from the main hub of the strip, a good minute walk away and we knew this when we booked.

However, this can be overcomed by using the 24 hour bus service along the strip. Overall for the price we paid, we would consider staying again here in the future as a base for exploring Vegas. First day the drain of the bathroom was not flowing well. But after pointing out, it was fixed immediately. The night view from the rooftop pool was fantastic! The towels were always prepared a lot, so we didn't need to ask for another ones even after taking showers a few times.

The hotel is located a little far from the main strip Bellagio hotel , but there is a bus stop right in front of the North Tower of the hotel so we could go to the strip within 10minutes. United States Hotels.

This isn't exactly the poshest end of The Strip, and the action at the hotel, casino, and even the pool can tend toward the rowdier side of the spectrum. Guests here come from across the globe, lured by the bargain prices. Stratosphere sits between the biggest destinations on The Strip and Downtown Las Vegas, though don't plan on walking to either.

The immediate area certainly isn't glitzy or glam, though you'll find a soul food restaurant, fast food, and a gun club with a machine gun range right nearby. Downtown Las Vegas, with its neon-lined streets, is a minute drive from the hotel, as is the Mob Museum. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area -- with hiking through gorgeous candy-striped rocks -- is a minute drive from the hotel.

The Hoover Dam and Lake Mead are a bit farther away, and take 50 minutes to reach by car. McCarran International Airport is a to minute drive from the hotel depending on traffic. Entry-level rooms have dark beige carpets, nickel-plated lamps, cafe-style tables with chairs, and wood veneer furniture. The look lacks any Las Vegas flair, and everything is scuffed and dinged up.

The city or desert views are, at least, a saving grace. Overall, rooms have a mix of one king or two queen beds with diamond-shaped headboards, tan bed runners, and white-on-white striped sheets. Standard features include flat-screen TVs with cable channels, air-conditioning, basic alarm clocks, metal luggage racks, and irons and ironing boards.

Free Wi-Fi is available, but it's slow and speed upgrades come with fees. For a bit more style, Stratosphere's upgraded Tower Suites are the hotel's shining star, with their bright, loft-like interiors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and whirlpool tubs. Accessible rooms are available. Despite its less-than-central location, the Stratosphere has enough Vegas-sized extras to make it something of a destination in its own right.

The ground floor consists of an 80,square foot casino that's quite dark, but includes table games, slot machines, and a sports and race book. Keep in mind that all of these come with extra fees. The smaller adult-only pool -- on the 25th floor -- has a party vibe and allows topless sunbathing. It also features panoramic city views. The hotel's spa offers standard services like massages, manicures, and facials.

Food options range from upmarket venues to fast food, but all mostly get mixed reviews. Top of the World is a pricey steak and seafood restaurant located in the tower. A gift and sundry shop sells basics and snacks.

Other features include shops, a video-game arcade, an oxygen bar, and an ATM. The free valet and self-parking options are unexpected perks for central Las Vegas.

Keep in mind that resort fees are levied per day. Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino is a three-and-a-half pearl property with a hip vibe and a convenient central Strip location.
