When do clubs close in nyc
After working 40 hours Monday through Friday I'm led to believe that the weekend is 'my time' but sure doesn't feel that way once rolls around. I've been there a couple times on vacation and enjoyed some late nights out, but are the majority open late? Is there any sort of movement towards adopting a 2AM rather than 4AM closing time?
To be honest once I'm there I'll probably get over it pretty quick and not go out too much or stay out too late, but it'd be nice to know that the option is still there. Last call is 4am, then a 3 hour break with no alcohol served, then it all starts again from 7am if you're really going deep. From what i've seen is a lot of places close their doors at 2, unless they are still rocking hard, but your typical bar, will close their doors at 2, and then not let anyone else in, but stay open until 4.
As others already said, last call is officially 4am. Though bars may close earlier depending on crowds. However you can definitely find places open and serving through this hour. Also, no offense, OP, but I presume you have other much better and more compelling reasons for moving here other than our last call!
And 40 hours a week isn't a big deal. Most people I know work double that I work a full week and have an awfuly hard time staying up past 12 most nights. Thanks for subscribing! Many restaurateurs have been complaining about the current restrictions, so the change—which the Governor had been resisting in fear of potential late-night alcohol-fueled virus spreads—is likely a welcome one.

Providing non-compostable, single-use plastic beverage straws is prohibited except upon request. For customers who request a non-compostable plastic straw, food service establishments are required to provide one free of charge, without inquiring about the reason for the request.
